School Development Priorities
School Development and Improvement Areas - 2023/24
  
Building and Premises 
- Upgrading the lighting of the school to imporve energy efficiency.
- To upgrade the pupil toilets (girls) within the next two years
- Decorate school corridor
  
Maths 
- To improve progress and outcome for our current Year 5/6 cohort
- To monitor the impact of the 99 club (timetables)
  
English 
- To continue to develop attainment in writing
- To ensure progress of SEN pupils in writing
- To monitor children's attainment of grammar, punctuation and spelling

Early Years
- to continue to develop both the indoor and outdoor provision

Mental Health and Wellbeing
- to establish a wellbeing committee of staff and develop a 'well being' action plan
- to survey our pupils regarding their well being
 
Curriculum
- To further develop assessment systems for our broader curriculum subjects
- To cotninue to develop the planning, sequencing and progression of foundation curriculum subjects such as Music, P.E. and Languages

Partnership between other local primary schools
- To continue to work closely with Necton and Heartwood Primary Primary Schools in developing the offer of inter-school sports, forest learning, Thrive support for pupils and monitoring our impact as Church of England schools.
