The School Day
The following schedule sets out the average
school day. There are many times when activities, such as swimming or visits,
mean that the day has to be rearranged.

08:45

The earliest time for children to arrive at
school. Before this time we are not able to provide supervision on the
playground. In wet weather, the doors will be opened at this time
and children admitted to the building as they arrive. Unfortunately we
are not able to admit children before this time as staff are engaged on
other duties. |

08:53
|
|
First bell
rings (nicknamed the ‘kissing bell’). This is a warning to parents
to say last goodbyes to children and leave the playground before the
start of school.

Second Bell
rings. Children line up quietly for the start of school.
Children enter the school in their classes for registration. |
