Ashill PTA has been running for nearly 40 years, since September 1972. Despite catering for a different generation our aims are similar today as they were then. We support the school by fund raising, holding social events for the children and parents and providing parental assistance with events and activities as required. We invites support from all the parents for their activities throughout the yearn to help make their events a success. Our AGM is held in the first half term of the new school year usually in October. Membership of the PTA is open to all parents, carers and associates of the school.
PTA funds support the education of the children. We pay for the coaches for every school trips, greatly reducing the cost to parents. In the last school year, 2010/11, we gave nearly £3000 to school funds!
