Welcome to Ashill VC Primary School Website

Mrs Scott - Headteacher

On behalf of the Staff and Governing Body I would like to offer you a warm welcome to Ashill VC Primary School website.

We hope the information on this website will give you a brief overview of our school. Of course, the best way to really find out about a school is to visit it. We are always pleased to welcome visitors and enquiries and look forward to hearing from you.

School Ethos and Aims

Ashill VC Primary School is a community in which every member supports, respects and cares for each other. We take pride in achievement, positive values and high standards of teaching and learning in order to promote success.

By providing a broad, exciting curriculum we encourage children to develop enquiring minds, independence, tolerance and self confidence.

Through this we support children in becoming effective thinkers and learners.  As a Church of England Primary School we promote Christian values, in accordance with the principles of the Church of England, whilst respecting the rights, beliefs and culture of each person. Our children enjoy coming to school, feel safe and secure, are well behaved and work hard to achieve personal excellence.

We encourage and promote the individual interests and talents of every child and the school offers a wide variety of extra curricular activities to develop and broaden children’s interests and skills.

Developing relationships with parents and the wider community is an essential part of building on the success of our school.

We strive to seek new ways in which to build upon existing relationships, improve communication and involve our local community in school life.
